Meet The Maker!

Hola my name is Monica.  I was born and raised in The San Fernando Valley, I’m the oldest of the girls, we are 6 siblings.  I have always been very creative, crafty and passionate about Interior decorating. I was always changing the decor at my Mom & Dads house, even color washed the walls to match her mexican wooden furniture.  I’m a proud mom of two and grandmother of two.  I was very close to my Dad whom passed away 2yrs ago. He had a business which we grew up watching the success and the struggles but always saw the passion my dad had for his business. He always wanted me to have a business of my own because of all I knew how to do but at the time I was just not interested. I had my stable 30yr career and was fine. However, once my dad started getting more ill he kept telling me more and more about a business. It wasn’t till 1 day before my Dad passed that I promised him I would open up a business just like he wanted me to.  1yr 1/2 later I decided to start a candle business with my granddaughter to teach her what my Dad always taught us, How to be Independent & Successful.  When I offered it to her she was on vacation and soccer hadn’t started yet so she accepted all excited, she was able to help me always.  Then school and soccer from the park started and she also signed up for school soccer so it left her no free time anymore for candle making.  I will still keep growing like I promised my Dad, with the endless continued support of both my kids and grandkids.  I know he’s watching me and is proud of me as he always was for my accomplishments and because I love and enjoy creating these beautiful candles for everyone, con mucho Amor.  I chose Authentic Mexican Cazuelitas, Jarritos, tazas and more as vessels to honor my Dad, ( he is from Michoacán ),  above all and to honor and celebrate My Cultura Mexicana with favorable mexican scents and beautiful pieces for everyone’s home, in hopes to make everyone feel close to home in Mexico and bring back many wonderful memories, even from hundreds of miles away while smelling one of my scented mexican inspired candles.  The Logo itself has a strong meaning.  Those hands represent mine, holding up a light with a cazuelita candle up to heaven to my Dad always. The white butterfly on top represents my Dad.  Every single time a candle which I create is lit, represents a light being lit up for my Dad in Heaven.

Muchas Gracias de Corazon!
